See before and After pics to this project on Design Sponge.

In July of 2009 Faiella Design was contacted to redesign a brand new loft in the SOMA district of San Francisco. This client wanted it all, new paint colors, window coverings, furniture, basically a new look! Challenges in this project, storage solutions, like many big open spaces that are so typical of the “Loft Designs” closet space was extremely limited! Additional challenges, extra large windows, very angular spaces, lots of metal and iron finishes that all added to create a somewhat “cold” aesthetic and environment. This client definitely liked warm, inviting spaces so to work with the budget at hand we mixed high end product like Osborne and Little Textiles, custom made draperies with budget friendly product from retail shops like West Elm, Crate & Barrel and Ikea.

The finished product was a warm and inviting environment that also offered additional storage solutions!

Gorgeous! Especially love the metallic/matte stripes on side wall…
